Overview of our programmes
Our individualized paediatric speech therapy is designed to help children and teenagers overcome or manage speech, language, social, communication, and feeding difficulties caused by various conditions, delays, or developmental challenges. We provide assessment and intervention for children and teenagers with articulation disorders, language delays, motor planning difficulties, social communication difficulties, feeding and swallowing impairments, stuttering, and voice disorders etc.
Our individualized adult speech therapy is designed to help individuals overcome or manage speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties caused by various conditions, injuries, or illnesses, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, and more. We offer assessment and intervention for individuals with aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), and voice disorders.
Our pair and group therapy is designed to help children, teenagers, and young adults overcome or manage social and communication difficulties in a collaborative and supportive setting. We help our clients generalize the skills learned in individual sessions across various communication contexts.
Bconnect EIP is a personalized plan that combines therapeutic and educational support for children diagnosed with or at risk of developmental delays or disabilities. Designed to provide early support, the program helps children overcome or reduce the impact of developmental challenges on their future growth and learning, while also promoting their full potential by addressing delays at an early stage.
Our social group intervention is designed to help children, teenagers, and young adults overcome or manage social, pragmatics and communication challenges. The program focuses on enhancing self-esteem, self-awareness, body language, pragmatic language, conversational skills, and assertiveness. Additionally, the program targets social attention, social interpretation, problem-solving, and appropriate social responses.
Our group outing programme is designed to help children, teenagers and young adults generalize the speech, language, and communication skills they’ve learned in therapy to real-world environments, such as the community. By participating in structured outings, individuals practice and apply their communication skills in natural, social settings, promoting increased confidence and social interaction. The goal is to help them transfer these skills beyond the therapy room, enhancing their ability to engage in conversations, follow social cues, and interact appropriately in public places.
Our parental training programme is designed to empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to support their child's speech, language, and communication development. This program involves teaching parents how to reinforce and practice strategies learned during therapy sessions at home, ensuring continuous progress outside of clinical settings. The aim is to create a collaborative approach between therapists and families, enhancing the child’s communication skills in everyday environments.
Our parent support group is a programme designed to provide emotional support, guidance, and practical advice to parents and caregivers of children with special needs. These groups create a community where parents can share their experiences, learn from one another, and gain valuable insights from speech therapists or other professionals. The goal is to empower parents, reduce feelings of isolation, and offer strategies to help support their child's development at home and in daily life.
Our school holiday programme offers a unique exploratory experience for clients with special needs. Held annually outside of Bconnect, each camp focuses on different goals, such as unlocking talent, empowering parents, providing family retreats, fostering sibling relationships, building friendships, enhancing socialization, and developing independence skills.
